We ask for one thing — your email — and we'd like to be clear about what happens to it. Last updated .
What we collect
Only when you type it in or click a "Notify me", "Get first dibs" or waitlist button:
- Your email address.
- What you asked about — which flavor, "any restock", or the subscription waitlist.
- Where you came from — if you clicked through from an ad, we note which one. That's how we learn which ads work.
- When you signed up.
Browsing without signing up sends us nothing personal. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running, as every website does.
Why
- To email you once when the flavor you asked about is back (or when subscriptions launch). You can also opt into occasional news from lacta; every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which of our ads and pages bring people who actually want the product.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below) and it doesn't affect anything you did before.
Where it goes
- Klaviyo (email service, USA) stores the list and sends the emails. Klaviyo is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and works under standard contractual clauses.
- Our hosting provider serves the site and keeps the server logs mentioned above.
- Shopify, once the shop is live, handles orders and payments under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or upload your email to ad platforms to build audiences.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising pixels or third-party tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage for a few conveniences: what's in your cart, whether you've already dismissed the pop-up, and which ad you came from (kept for 30 days). Nothing in it is readable by other sites. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you — or 24 months after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or hand it over in a portable format, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. Unsubscribing is one click in any email; everything else is one email to hello@lacta.store. We'll answer within 30 days. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK and think we've got it wrong, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Age
The site isn't aimed at children. If you're under 16, please don't leave your email; if we learn we've collected one, we'll delete it.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, if you're on the list, tell you by email.
